Mario Hoops 3-on-3 (Google It) (Wikipedia) is a basketball game which is developed by Square Enix (Google It) (Wikipedia). It has a very good touch screen control system, great 3D graphic and in-game music composed by the same guy who do Final Fantasy's soundtrack. You even fight with the Final Fantasy team on the last tourney, starring Final Fantasy's minor character such as mages and Moogle.

Cooking Mama (Google It) (Wikipedia) is a series of minigames that involve sliding, tapping and touching the NDS stylus, where these minigames is based on 'cooking' theme. There's a wide variety of 'meals' for you to choose to cook, more than 75, but basically you do the same stuff. You can unlock more 'meals' after you complete a number or 'cooking'.

Harvest Moon DS (Google It) (Wikipedia) is the first Harvest Moon game for NDS. This game is kinda like the gamecube version of the game, but with NDS's touch screen tools and menu navigating. For those who dunno what the heck is Harvest Moon, Harvest Moon is a series of very popular farming simulator, where we need to plant stuf, watering them, care for farm animal, built/repair house and barns, etc etc. If you want a 'The Sim'-like farming game, this is what you will need.

Trauma Center - Under the Knife (Google It) (Wikipedia) is a very wonderfully intertaining game where we 'uses' many different types of surgery instruments via the NDS touch screen and perform surgery to patients within a given time. It's a very good game, make clever use of NDS touch screen, and have a great story-line. If you have no game to play on your NDS and finished all the great game that you wanna play, then by no means, try this great best-selling game.

Pokemon Trozei! (Google It) (Wikipedia) is a puzzler where gameplay is similar with Yoshi's Cookie (Google It) (Wikipedia) and it lossly based on the Pokemon theme, except for the non-rewarding completing the pokedex side-quest. It's also very simple due to the usage of the touchscreen to move blocks around. Good for 10 minutes transit ride.

Super Monkey Ball - Touch & Roll (Google It) (Wikipedia) is yet another Super Monkey Ball game, but ultilized the NDS touchscreen to control the monkey ball. Very easy and fast to finish this game as it's only involving rolling a ball around. What's great with this game is it's mini-games, multiplayer-able and quite fun, in-fact, fun-ner than the actual main game. My favourite mini-game is Monkey Golf and Monkey Wars, a mini FPS with cute weapon. Control are good with the touchscreen, way better than Metroid and me think this is how every NDS FPS should be controlled.

Elite Beat Agents (Google It) (Wikipedia) is the English version of the highly popular import Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan (Google It) (Wikipedia). It have different but still wacky crazy side-story and with well-known English songs while retaining the same game-play - where we touch and slide the tiouchscreen with stylus, rhythming with the selected stage/song. Music lovers should try this game.

Children of Mana (Google It) (Wikipedia) for NDS is the latest addition of the World of Mana (Google It) (Wikipedia) games series. This game is a very simple slash and hack brawler that not only Mana fans will enjoy, but the rest of us too. Good graphics, soundtrack, hack/slash gameplay and gems mechanics (a way to power-up our character, besides of leveling the character) but bad story-line, repetitive-ness and menu navigation.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon (Google It) (Wikipedia) consists of 2 version, the Red Rescue Team for GBA and the Blue Rescue Team for NDS.

If you ever played a Mystery Dungeon game, then this is almost the same, but with Pokémon theme. A good one, with nice story, sticking to the Pokémon philosophy. Definately a must-finish game for all Pokémon fans, like me.

Sprung (Google It) (Wikipedia) for NDS is a text based dating game (it's not a simulator and the graphics, the chicks are nothing to shout for). It have great story however, and some the the scenes are difficult too. Play this only if you have too much time thinking how you can impress girls anf friends.

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! (Google It) (Wikipedia) is a musical rhythm game where we need to touch the screen according to on screen instruction and songs rhythm which is suprisingly addictive. Featuring songs from J-Pop artists, we need to touch, slide and tap the screen where each song featuring side-story where we have to cheer them to good ending. To me, a J-Pop fan, the selection songs are very good despite some of it are quite old and not sung by original artist. A must-have import if you own NDS, like music games and love J-Pop. If you don't really like Japanese musics, you can try another game titles Elite Beat Agents! with the same gameplay, but different side-story and English songs.

Meteos (Google It) (Wikipedia) is simple yet addictive puzzle game for the NDS. It's play very similar with Tetris Attack with touch screen. Similar with Tetris, Meteos is very easy to learn, yet hard to really master it, you must have very good reflexes. Puzzle lover will love this.

Nintendogs (Google It) (Wikipedia) from Nintendo (Google It) (Wikipedia) is a dog petting simulator on NDS, which is getting more and more sellable in US. It also spawn 6 different versions of the game for you to breed different dogs. Featuring almost real graphics and sound effect, the dogs will need to be taken care of, just like real dogs. You can even interact with it using the NDS touch screen and talk to it with the built-in microphone. So if you like dogs and no place/lazy/cant afford to pet a real dog, get yourself a NDS and try this game.

With no doubt, the best 2D platformer has to be Super Mario Bros. (Google It) (Wikipedia) series and the version for NDS, the New Super Mario Bros. (Google It) (Wikipedia) is no exception. With new power-ups, new moves and enemies, make the whole game more interesting. (We cannot fly this time) It's quite easy to clear all the stages, with an exception, the last green castle, which resemble very much of the earlier level in Wario Land 4 (Google It) (Wikipedia), a Game Boy Advance (Google It) (Wikipedia) game. So if you played Wario Land 4 and finished it before, u can beat this game in no time. It's getting all the coins in each level that's difficult. Thankfully, we dun have to collect all 3 coins in a level to clear it. Multiplayer mode rocked hard too. It's basically 2 player trying to kill each other and steal big star from each other. Oh, and the various mini games keep the game cart from dust even u beaten the game and have no one to multiplayer with.

WarioWare: Touched! (Google It) (Wikipedia) is a series of microgames, which can be completed fast if we:

- have quick reflexes touching stuff on the NDS screen

- our eyes are fast enough to catch the images that the game is throwing to us

-  our brain fast enough to decephir what the game want us to do...

Which me dont. So its take me about a week to unlock all the microgames and character and see the credits. This game is really nice addition to our NDS game library. Just dont get too excited touching the NDS and blowing into it, if u happened to be on a train full of people, watching u.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Google It) (Wikipedia) is the first game in the Ace Attorney series (there's 4 now, only Phoenix Wright is in english, currently). Ace Attorney games is touted as lawyer, attorney simulator but then the story is line quite linear. To solve various trail cases, we need to talk to many people, go to many places, gathering important evidence and not-so-important stuff, before back to court, cross-examination witness and find contradiction to their testimonies. All this can be quite challenging as we dun know which piece of evidence is useful and which is rubbish. Cant wait for the second game of the series to be translated into english...

This game... Uh... This is not actually a game, but an mini digital musical mixer for NDS, where we interact with animated plankton to create tones and tunes. Designed by interactive media artist Toshio Iwai (Google It) (Wikipedia), Electroplankton (Google It) (Wikipedia) has no objective, timer or top score, some people categoried it as a toy software rather than a game.

Bomberman DS (Google It) (Wikipedia) is... Well, is our typical bomberman game for our NDS. The touch screen is used to consume our collected powers, and according to the game manual, we can shout "Ka Boom" to our NDS to blow off bombs, but me think we'll prefer the old button pressing way...

The single player mission is fairly easy, and can finish it under 3 hours. It's the multiplayer mode which rock a bomberman game. Up to eight player can play, with a single cart, although no wifi play.

Tetris DS (Google It) (Wikipedia) is not a game that me consider me finished (nothing to finish anyway), but it just have to get it's own entry here. The main attraction of the game that me, and me believed many bought this game, is the cool online play, which set us and 3 more unknown opponent to a good tetris battle. Yes, the game does have other offline mode such as "Standard", "Push", "Touch", "Puzzle", "Mission" and "Catch", which you can read all about those mode in Wikipedia, but it's the online gaming support via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection (Google It) (Wikipedia) is what make the game sell. The game has 2 online mode, the first, and perhaps the most played, is the "Standard" 2 player mode where players compete to see who constructs complete lines the fastest, "Standard" 4 players mode which is the same as 2 player mode but with items that can benefit us or distract our opponents constructing lines. The second online mode is "Push", available only for 2 players, where players construct lines to push each other to ground (ir fire). Me personally only play and compete on the "Standard" 2 player mode, where no item can be used. It's fair and square, which is not in case with battles with item on, somebody on the losing ground could possibly change the tide, given the correct item is used.

The game is not the same old boring tetris, though. It's enhanced with Nintendo themed background and catchy remixes of old game music. There's Mario, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Link and Samus, each making their appearance in various of said modes. Oh, and now we can hold a piece of Tetrimino to be use later, adding to a more interesting tetris battles.
